Memorial Day Weekend 2008

Our family met four (4) other families in Houghton Lake over Memorial Day weekend. They were our college buddies and their children. There were 10 adults and 12 kids. The hotel had a mini water park which Rylee enjoyed. Heathe thinks Rylee swam between 8 - 10 hours over the two days that we were there. We took the kids mini golfing, on go carts and on some amusement park rides. Rylee got a hole in one and I beat Heathe :)

Kid's Hope

Monday, May 19th was the Kid's Hope end of the year party at our church. Rylee and Sydney went to the party with me. We met Leslie there and then brought her home. Rylee and Leslie enjoy spending time together :)

Preschool Graduation - May 20, 2008

Rylee graduated from preschool at Imagination Station on May 20, 2008. It was an exciting night for everyone. I can't believe she is going to be in Kindergarten this fall. Time flies!!! Rylee is so excited to ride the bus with the neighbor girls and to move up a room at Imagination Station. She will still go there on the days she doesn't have school and after school.

Tulip Time 2008

We went to the Tulip Time parade on Saturday. Rylee decided not to ride on Imagination Station's float this year. She thought it would be cool to watch the parade instead. So, we met Kathy, Brooklyn, Logan, Kim, Olivia, Tressa, Brinzie and Braxton downtown.

Dandelion Festival 2008

We all went to the Dandelion Festival at Borculo Christian Reformed Church after swimming lessons. We had to miss the parade this year, but that's okay because Rylee has a ton of candy in the cupboard and doesn't need any more :) She had fun on all the rides, and had the opportunity to spend time with her friends.

Swimming Lessons Spring 2008

Rylee took swimming lessons again. She doesn't really like learning new strokes, but she did pretty well. She loves every opportunity to put her face in the water or jump off the diving board.

Matching Jammies

Rylee and Sydney getting ready for bed . . . matching so cute!

Carter James

We went over the Meeuwsen's house a few weeks ago. I think Carter is sleeping everytime we see him, but we did get to see his peepers for a short period of time. It doesn't matter because he is so adorable no matter if he is asleep or awake. Sydney thought she would test out some of his toys while we visited :)
