IMS Christmas Program

Rylee and her buddies from IMS before the Christmas Program.

Miss Megan and Sydney. Miss Megan is Sydney's
primary care giver at IMS.

Aunt Becky came out to see the girls in action.
Grandma Jackson traveled all this way to see the girls in their Christmas program.
What a dedicated grandma to travel 2 1/2 hours to watch a 30 minute program!!!
Grandma and Papa Huizenga also were in attendance!
Rylee and Abby . . . both were in the program.
Rylee was the STAR that the wise men followed to see baby Jesus :)
Oh and don't forget Big Syd. she was also in the program.
If you can see her she is sitting in the big red stroller on the right.
She is sitting in the front seat. Yes, she is the one with the pacifier in her mouth.
Hey, it kept her content and she made it through to the end.
Picture of Rylee in action . . .

program for Imagination Station on Thursday night (12-11)
Take two :)
Take three :)
Okay, last one I promise!!

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Sydney helping set up the Christmas tree.
Rylee and Abby (neighbor friend) helped decorate the tree too.

Reach higher Rylee!!!

Rylee was having a little trouble getting some
of the ornaments out of the boxes.

Thanksgiving Weekend in Tecumseh

Rylee and Sydney after a pre-Thanksgiving dinner. You can't really see, but Sydney has mashed potatoes all over her face . . . what can I say, the girl loves to eat!
Sydney's first attempt at bowling. We took the girls bowling the day after
Thanksgiving at Ten Pin Alley in Tecumseh.

Fun Fun Fun

Rylee was pushing Sydney and Abby around in the laundry basket for about an hour. I think everyone was having a good time.

Love of chocolate candy

We figured out we have a chocolate lover. Sydney has them all over her face.

Tupperware Drawer

Sydney enjoys emptying out the drawer I keep tupperware lids in just as much as Rylee did when she was that age . . . she also had some help from her big sister this time.

Happy Halloween 2008

We had a good time trick or treating with all our friends. Rylee and Sydney had a ton of candy before they even left Imagination Station. We stopped at a few places before we headed to Tim and Tara's to walk around their neighborhood.

Tree Cutting Party

Seems like every spring and fall Heathe decides to cut down more dead pine trees. Well, this Saturday we cut down seven dead trees. Marty helped Heathe drop them and then our awesome neighbors helped with the clean up. It is actually fun when we all get together to do stuff like this. Even the kids helped. Rylee hooked up her sled to the back of her quad and hauled stuff to the fire. Abby rode on the quad with her and told her when it was all out and time to go get another load :) As you can see the highlight of the day was when the girls could walk on the trees that Heathe and Marty cut down . . . they sustained minimal scratches. We had pizza for dinner and celebrated Brenda's 29th (again) birthday with cake and ice cream. It took both Trent and Heathe to get all the candles lit! Sydney practiced with her birthday cake, again. I was still hoping she would dig on in and make a mess. No such luck. Practice is now over because I finally threw her cake away.

Decorating for Halloween

Heathe, Rylee, Sydney, Katie (neighborhood friend) and I all decorated the outside of our house with Halloween decorations. I need to take a photo when it is a little darker, but it turned out pretty good. The girls thought it was so cool!

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

It is Sydney's birthday. She was a little more into her cake today, but I still didn't get a kid that wanted to dive into the cake and make a mess. Rylee threw up all over her cake at her 1st birthday! Tara, Bret, Allyson & my mom and dad came over for pizza. Kathy, Brooklyn and Logan stopped by a little later on to wish Sydney a happy birthday. Logan practiced blowing Sydney's candle out :)
